OPEN Founder Visits Jubilee

On a recent visit to OPEN participating schools and technology supporters in Amman, Jordan, Cairo, Egypt, and Athens, Greece, Mr. Newman was hosted by the Jubilee School in Amman. At that time he was invited to attend the 1998 High School graduating class ceremonies. Dr. Fathi Jarwan, the schools director, mentioned in his address the partnership with OPEN which he said "...will soon bring distance learning and 21st century educational opportunity to students in Jordan". Her Majesty Queen Noor's Office had accepted OPEN's program, and through the Jordan Ministry of Education selected the Jubilee school as the premier school.
